Daily Activity

Welcome to Rio, the capital city of Brazil! Embark on a memorable Special South America Tour with ORCHID. After immigration and baggage collection, you will be transferred to the hotel for check in.


Today we visit the famous Copacabana Beach and Pepino Beach. Then we visit Maracana Stadium, The Sambodrome – built for parade area during Rio Carnival, Metropolitan Cathedral and Downtown Rio. Experience the most amazing samba parade in the world-famous Rio Festival.


Today we visit one of the 7 wonders of the world as we take a cable car ride to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. We visit Corcovado – upon which stands the famous Christ the Redeemer statue. Later we take a cogwheel train that takes us to this wonderful statue. We can enjoy amazing view of the city from the top.


Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Iguazu Falls. Depart to Iguassu Falls, 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Arrive at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park, about 10 kilometers from the city center. After passing through the Visitor Center, we will venture inside the National Park, continuing along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguassu Falls. Enjoy an easy walking tour along the boardwalk about a kilometer. Enroute the walk, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and at the end of the walk you get a fantastic close -up view of the Devils Throat and main waterfalls. To visit the Devils Throat, you must board the train at the Main Station or at the Cataratas Station, close to the Upper Circuit. If you love to trek instead there is a one kilometer-long Sendero Verde (Green Trail) that connects the Visitors Center to the Cataratas Station and to the Upper Circuit.


After Breakfast, get your cameras ready for a further memorable experience of this natural wonder of the world. The 200,000 year-old falls span across the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay and are known to pour over 400,000 gallons of water a second onto the rocks below. We will explore the three tiers of the park that give us different vantage points of the falls. The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air. The upper path leads to incredible panoramic views of the falls from an extensive footbridge, an unforgettable experience. You will be guided throughout the tour and will have lots of free time to take pictures, enjoy nature and see the falls at your own pace. Later, meet up and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.


We will have a brief tour through Lima, the capital and largest city of Peru! We shall wind through its streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Later we visit San Isidro, the financial center of the city. Then on, visit the Main Square, see the Government Palace and the Town Hall. Transfer to the airport and fly to Cusco. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.


Our exclusive city tour of Cusco starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products grown in the area that supply the whole city. After this, the Korikancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name means Gold Enclosure still bedazzles us with the thought of its gold covered walls. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church. We will walk from San Blas, the artisans neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc Street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, nowadays home to the Archbishops Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.


In the morning, we will distance from the crowds and visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending perfectly. Our adventure continues at the Inca Shrine Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave. We then arrive at the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, a monument of impressive architectonic knowledge, considered as one of the pillars of Andean Cosmos vision.


Embark on a train trip to see one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station where you will be assisted on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. After a guided visit, we will drive back to Cusco.


Depart on a tour bus to Puno. Enroute visit the attractions this beautiful route has to offer. The first stop is Andahuaylillas for a visit to its beautiful chapel, then its Racchi, Temple of the Wiracocha god where the walls and narrow streets stand out. After lunch, we grab the opportunity to see the view at La Raya, the natural border between Cusco and Puno. Before our final destination, we will visit the in site Pucara Museum, a chance to get one of the local classic bull shaped ceramics. We will arrive in Puno late afternoon.


Today we proceed to Copacabana, visit the floating Uros Islands where the villages are built on Totora Reed and enjoy the view of Lake Titicaca. Later we visit the Eco Complex by catamaran.


Today we proceed to La Paz, on arrival we enjoy city orientation tour including the Old and New Town, Indian Market and chic suburbs of La Paz followed by visit to Moon Valley, a geological offense caused by Mother Nature. We then enjoy a Cable car ride to get an amazing view of the city.


Today we fly to Santiago, on arrival we enjoy a city orientation tour of Santiago. Where we see La Moneda Palace, Plaza de Armas, Santiago stock exchange building and Metropolitan Park.


It is time to bid bye and take loads of memories back home. Today our tour ends and we fly back home with beautiful experiences cherishing forever!!
