Daily Activity

Day 01: Bangalore – Sao Paulo – Rio de Janeiro

Welcome to Rio De Janeiro! Embark on a memorable Special South America Tour with ORCHID. After Immigration and baggage collection, you will be transferred to the Hotel for check-in. Dinner at Restaurant. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

       
 

Day 2: Rio De Janeiro

Today we visit one of the 7 wonders of the world as we take a cable car ride to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. We visit Corcovado – upon which stands the famous Christ the Redeemer Statue. Later we take a cogwheel train that takes us to this wonderful statue. We can enjoy an amazing view of the city from the top.

           
 

Day 03: Rio de Janeiro – Iguazu

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Iguazu Falls. Depart to Iguazu Falls, 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Arrive at the entrance of the Iguazu National Park, about 10 kilometers from the city center. After passing through the Visitor Center, we will venture inside the National Park, continuing along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Enjoy an easy walking tour along the boardwalk about a kilometer. Enroute the walk, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and at the end of the walk, you get a fantastic close-up view of the Devils Throat and main waterfalls. To visit the Devils Throat, you must board the train at the Main Station or at the Cataratas Station, close to the Upper Circuit. If you love to trek instead there is a one kilometer-long Sendero Verde (Green Trail) that connects the Visitors Center to the Cataratas Station and to the Upper Circuit.

           
 

Day 04: Iguazu – Lima

After Breakfast, get your cameras ready for a further memorable experience of this natural wonder of the world. The 200,000-year-old falls span across the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay and are known to pour over 400,000 gallons of water a second onto the rocks below. We will explore the three tiers of the park that give us different vantage points of the falls. The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air. The upper path leads to incredible panoramic views of the falls from an extensive footbridge, an unforgettable experience. You will be guided throughout the tour and will have lots of free time to take pictures, enjoy nature and see the falls at your own pace. Later, meet up and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima. On arrival, transfer to Hotel.

           
 

Day 05: Lima                                                                                                           

We will have a brief tour through Lima, the capital and largest city of Peru! We shall wind through its streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Later we visit San Isidro, the financial center of the city. Then on, visit the Main Square, see the Government Palace and the Town Hall.

           
 

Day 06: Lima – Cusco

After breakfast check-out, the Hotel, transfer to Airport to take the flight from Lima to Cusco On Arrival, complete the Immigration formalities. Transfer to Hotel for Check-in. Dinner at Restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

           
 

Day 07: Cusco – Machu Pichu – Cusco

Embark on a train trip to see one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station where you will be assisted on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. After a guided visit, we will drive back to Cusco.

           
 

Day 08: Cusco

Our exclusive city tour of Cusco starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products grown in the area that supply the whole city. After this, the Korikancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name means Gold Enclosure still bedazzles us with the thought of its gold covered walls. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church. We will walk from San Blas, the artisans neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, nowadays home to the Archbishops Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.

           
 

Day 09: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco

Early morning for the trip to the renowned and colorful rainbow mountains. After a 3 hour drive. We will head to the starting point of our hike. There are approximately 3 kilometers of flat land uphill, leading to the majestic "Mountain of Colors". The hike will take about 1.5 hours, depending on your level of fitness or horses can be rented for part of the trip. Horses will take you to 200 meters from the top, then you will finish the climb. Throughout the hike, enjoy panoramic views of the valleys, wild llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, as well as of the Andes and the nearby glaciers. Once here (subject to weather), we will be able to receive your first views of Rainbow Mountain.

           
 

Day 10: Puno – Copacabana – Huatajata

Today we proceed to Copacabana, visit the floating Uros Islands where the villages are built on Totora Reed and enjoy the view of Lake Titicaca. Later we visit Eco Complex by catamaran.

           
 

Day 11: Huatajata – La Paz

Today we proceed to La Paz, on arrival we enjoy city orientation tour including the Old and New Town, Indian Market and chic suburbs of La Paz followed by visit to Moon Valley, a geological offense caused by Mother Nature. We then enjoy a Cable car ride to get an amazing view of the city.

           
 

Day 12: La Paz – Uyuni Salt Flats – La Paz

Optional Day: Day at leisure or opt to visit the worlds largest salt flats, a natural spectacle that will last in your minds forever.

Day 13: La Paz

City tour of La Paz. Venture to several local markets where the culture of Bolivia really comes alive! Hear about staple foods, including different types of potatoes from the Andes. Taste fresh organic produce at a fruit market, including flavorful fruit from the rainforest. Then, travel by cable car to a spectacular viewpoint away from the tourist crowds. Get a panoramic view of the city from above.
Jump back in a cable car and journey down to the Witches Market, another classic La Paz neighborhood. Here you can discover the myths and legends of Bolivia, from spooky voodoo to everything you need to know about the coca leaf. Youll even find some very interesting Bolivian aphrodisiacs.

           
 

Day 14: La Paz - Santiago

Today we fly to Santiago, on arrival we enjoy city orientation tour of Santiago. Where we see La Moneda Palace, Plaza de Armas, Santiago stock exchange building and Metropolitan Park. In the morning, your diver and guide will pick you up at your Hotel to start your city tour of Santiago. During this tour, you will visit the main attractions of the city, such as Cerro Santa Lucia, Barrio Civico, historic Santiago, La Moneda Palace, the Municipality of Santiago, National Historical Museum, and Cathedral of Santiago. Explore the histories of the city through its advances into a conservative society and the most important milestones in its national history.

           
 

Day 15: Santiago – Buenos Aris

After breakfast check-out the Hotel, transfer to Airport to take the flight from Santiago to Buenos Aris. On Arrival, complete the Immigration formalities. Transfer to Hotel for Check-in. Dinner at Restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

           
 

Day 16: Buenos Aris- El Calafate

After breakfast check-out, the Hotel, transfer to Airport to take the flight from Buenos Aris to El Calafate – a beautiful city of South America, time to venture into Argentina. On Arrival, complete the Immigration formalities. Transfer to Hotel for Check-in. Dinner at Restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

           
 

Day 17: El Calafate – Patagonia - El Calafate

Visit one of most beautiful national parks Torres Del Paine, a spectacle of nature beauty filled with snow Cap Mountains, turquoise lakes and pine trees.

           
 

Day 18: El Calafate

Today we will proceed to Perito Meringo Glacier one of the worlds largest active continental Glaciers. It is also declared as Universal Mankinds Heritage by UNESCO. We take a Boat Ride at Perito Meringo Glacier which gives amazing view of the glaciers. Fly to Buenos Aires.

       
 

Day 19: Buenos Aires – India

Today we explore the city of Buenos Aires wherein we visit Cabildo – town hall, Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, districts of San Telmo and La Bocca, The Palermo, Avenida 9 de Julio and Metropolitan Cathedral.  It is time to bid bye and take loads of memories back home. Today our tour ends and we fly back home with beautiful experiences cherishing forever!!
